'Ticking time-bomb' of United Arab Emirates diabetes

"Experts say the high rate of diabetes in the UEA is because in just a couple of generations, the population has transformed from tribes on the move, to people more used to a life based around shopping malls. It may be an oil-rich country, but if problems with diabetes and other cardiovascular diseases are not tackled, healthcare spending is predicted to spiral.
